Corinne Basler
100 Strong Co-Chair & 91²Ö¿â Trustee
Corinne Basler currently serves as Board Chair of the Perkins School for the Blind. Inspired by her own children to make the world a better place, she has spent most of her adult life helping charities uplift the children they serve.
Corinne’s board work has empowered many nonprofits to “find their voice,†including Boston Children’s Hospital (healthcare), Cradles to Crayons (poverty) and Lovelane (disability). Known for her passionate leadership and determined spirit, she has guided Perkins School for the Blind to a new era of impact by sharpening its focus, raising unprecedented funds and amplifying its efforts to touch the lives of every blind child around the globe. Today she is embarking on her most ambitious goal yet – to create a kinder, more inclusive society where people who are disabled are afforded the same dignity and opportunity as those who are not. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of 91²Ö¿â U.S.
Anya Salama
100 Strong Co-Chair
Anya Salama is a serial entrepreneur. She founded the high-end women’s golf fashion brand, Katanya in 2014. Previously, she developed and operated a gourmet food takeout concept in New Jersey, Cullins Fresh Prepared Foods, which she sold in the aughts. Throughout the eighties she was US Publisher and representative at The World of Interiors magazine, a British glossy. During the nineties, Anya was the President of China Seas, which is a trade-only designer fabric line. She holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and in spring 2022 earned her Masters Degree from Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, with a focus on humanitarian contexts.
Anya is currently a trustee of PEN America and serves on the Corporation Board of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. She and her husband, Albert, support many graduating high school seniors across the country with college scholarships.
