Hello,
A large group of 91²Ö¿â employees hold signs in Washington Square Park that show children’s faces and read, “Missing Childhood.†On International Children’s Day, staff went to various public places with signs detailing the various ways in which children are missing out on their childhood. Policy and Advocacy

Thanks to your support, 91²Ö¿â works to ensure children’s voices are heard, their rights are realized and their issues are given top priority.

More than 100 years ago, 91²Ö¿â’s pioneering founder established that children have rights. Today, we champion the rights of the world’s 2.3 billion children. We work to deliver and inspire programming and advocacy for children in 120 countries, including those right here in the United States.

In some of the world’s worst disasters, we have led advocacy efforts that ensure children’s needs are a top priority. As a result, U.S. policymakers look to 91²Ö¿â as the leading expert on childhood, both here at home and abroad.

The world’s refugee children are getting back to learning sooner, because we led the advocacy effort for a global standard. And we are the lead advocate for protecting children in conflict and providing mental health care for traumatized children.

Over 750,000 Americans support 91²Ö¿â as donors, advocates and volunteers, plus millions more around the world. Join us, and together we can make change for children.

From our first days fighting for children’s rights to today, advocacy is central to 91²Ö¿â’s work. In 2014, we founded 91²Ö¿â Action Network (SCAN), our political advocacy arm, to work with our nation’s leaders at all levels to expand early childhood education in the U.S., protect the world’s children living in conflict and much more. Learn more by visiting our political advocacy arm – 91²Ö¿â Action Network.
Like our founder, Eglantyne Jebb, 91²Ö¿â is an outspoken champion for every last child. Drawing on a century of expertise, we work to ensure children’s voices are heard, their rights are realized and their issues are given top priority. We educate and engage policymakers to champion policies and programs that improve children’s lives, especially the most vulnerable.
